The ever-lasting love for Wasabi-the paste of joy

Being a Japanese Gastronome, the idea of Wasabi always ends me up with some wonderful excitement of pain & pleasure all at once-Kudos!

Wasabi is a plant which falls into the family of Brassicaceae which includes cabbages, horseradish and mustard. Some people may even refer that to Japanese horseradish, which is used as an alternative for authentic Wasabi preparation due to the scarcity of the original plant.

The searing heat it creates in both oral and nasal cavities for few seconds will undoubtedly refresh your brain to feet and Whoa! If you have ever tried this green paste of joy, you would definitely agree with me on the tummy touching experience it will over load you with!

Japanese food experience would never be 100% completed-if you don’t feel the sensation of pure wasabi-so next time when you walk into an Asian food joint, make sure to have a bite of this throat-twitching and brain-freezing paste-to create an ever lasting food memory!Ginger and wasabi
